What is the Breeding Contract?

The breeding contract is a contract between the breeder and the individual for the adoption of a puppy under certain conditions.

The principle is simple, the breeder reserves the right to have several projections (for the male) or litters (for the female) during the life of the puppy.

The costs of food, veterinarians, are the responsibility of the individual.

Costs related to mating or whelping are the responsibility of the breeder.

The price   of the puppy is free!

The breeding contract covers many aspects and will be codified in the contract.

Breeding contract: What is the interest for the breeder?

The breeding contract allows the breeder to limit the number of dogs in his herd but to retain the possibility of having them reproduced. It is also an economical solution because the current costs (food, veterinarian, etc.) are generally the responsibility of the future owner.

Breeding contract: What is the interest for the individual?

When signing a breeding contract, the individual undertakes to respect the conditions indicated in the contract.

The owner thus has a puppy resulting from the selection made by the breeder. The interest is also to be able to adopt a quality LOF dog and   for free.

Finally, some breeding contracts provide for the reimbursement of all costs incurred by participation in dog shows...

In conclusion

The breeding contract is for me an interesting solution for both parties, based on mutual trust.

For my part, the puppies are entrusted free of charge in exchange for 3 litters during the life of a bitch for a female from  18 months or 2 years and for a male I recover it_cc781905-5cde -3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ a few   days a year so that he can go out to dog shows   and make a few matings a year.

In order to be able to continue my selection work; I chose the most beautiful marriage with parents in excellent health and the most beautiful puppy in the litter, which remains an additional and significant advantage for families.

For my part, I have several female dogs under contract and everything is going wonderfully, I have news regularly and vice versa when they are at home.

Generally they come back for 2 to 3 litters, the most difficult for the families remains the separation which will last a few weeks but the families are free to come and see their female dog and the news is numerous, I generally do everything so that the female dog is at home. her, my dogs are neither in a cage nor in a box, they live with us and enjoy the garden!

You should know that females are different when they are nursing and all attention turns to her babies, families who come are often surprised to see their female dog so fulfilled.
